Connection isn’t just important — it’s essential.
Nurturing authentic connections supports our health and well-being, strengthens our workplaces and communities, and lays the foundation for meaningful collaboration. This is true for each of us individually and for all of us together in the HRC network.
Join us on May 30 for a highly interactive virtual workshop with the amazing David Westerlund. David will guide us through 90 minutes of connection, reflection, laughter, and learning. With the right mix of structure, freedom, and a few surprises, David has designed our time to deepen your sense of belonging and leave you inspired for what’s next.
Purpose: Cultivate and deepen connectedness with others across our HRC network
Desired Outcomes:
Leave feeling connected, energized, and inspired
Build deeper and broader relationships, and a sense of belonging
Experience (non-gimmicky) tools/methods for building human connection on Zoom that can also be used in person
Expectations:
To make the most of this session for yourself and others:
Cameras on: We ask all participants to keep cameras on throughout to foster connection and presence.
Be present and engaged: This is not a passive webinar. Your presence matters - please join from a space where you can fully participate. And please join on a laptop or desktop (vs phone or tablet).
Use of breakout rooms: Be ready for small-group conversations designed to spark meaningful connections.
Facilitators will create a warm, inclusive space and guide us through practices that encourage authentic engagement.
Participants are encouraged to come with open hearts and minds, to meet new people, and deepen relationships with those they may already know. Be prepared to be surprised and delighted!
